Repair Day 2023: will you join in?

On Saturday, October 21st, it’s International Repair Day once again. On this day, we celebrate repairing worldwide. This year’s theme is ‘Repair for everyone’.

With this theme, we aim to highlight that repair information shouldn’t be limited to professional repairers alone. Repair Cafe volunteers and everyday consumers should also have access to this support. Also, professional repairs should be affordable, just like spare parts, which should be widely available and delivered promptly when needed.

Register your repair event

But on Repair Day, we primarily demonstrate that repairing is fun and inspiring. Will you join in? Then please register your repair event on the Open Repair Alliance’s website. All registered events will be featured on the special world map for Repair Day 2023.

Visit a Repair Cafe or make a repair at home

Of course, you can also join by visiting a Repair Cafe near you, or by making a repair at home. Have fun!
